After the bitter comes the sweet

Eroticism. It’s intimidating and it makes you feel nervous and uncomfortable. But, at the same time, excited and curious. There’s something about it that makes you want to keep exploring. You never know what’s going to happen next. And in the end, when all the built-up tension is released, you normally get your reward and feel more relaxed.

This garden, After the Bitter Comes the Sweet, represents all these feelings. It’s divided into a “bitter part” and a “sweet part”. The bitter part makes you feel excited, intimidated and curious about what’s going to happen. You can’t see what’s waiting for you around the corner. In the sweet part, visitors get the chance to feel more relaxed and laugh a little.

The members of Team Scandi are Cathrine Bugge, Fredrika Orefelt and Jenny Zackrisson, students of landscape architecture, from Sweden and Norway. They met during their exchange semester in Vienna, where they created the design together.
